The nipple does not grow much and is projected towards the breast with a bilateral appearance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When both breasts have this appearance there is no risk for the patient and it can be corrected with surgery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>2) Acquired: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It may be associated with a breast disease, as soon as this appears a medical checkup should be performed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the associated reasons is the first symptoms of breast cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is important to differentiate the inverted nipple from the retracted nipple (acquired after surgery, infection or breast tumor) as the treatment is <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-db092fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"db092fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Grade I. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the nipple is manipulated it can be removed easily or even without manipulation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Grade II. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is necessary to manipulate the nipple to remove it, but it becomes inverted again after manipulation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Grade III. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The nipple can never be removed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is very important that before undergoing this type of intervention you go to an assessment appointment to know your expectations and advise
