This surgery corrects the aesthetic appearance or symmetry of the male pectorals. Its objective is to augment the pectorals with a natural appearance. It is important that you come in for an evaluation appointment so that we can discuss in detail your expectations with the procedure.
Pectoral augmentation with fat infiltration consists of removing fat from the patient through liposuction and then purifying it; once the fat is obtained, it is injected with cannulas in the pectoral muscle area.
Local anesthesia or sedation can be used since it is not a painful procedure. It does not require hospitalization, it is an outpatient procedure.
The candidate must be able to understand that the objective of this surgery is only to improve aesthetics or asymmetry.
Recovery from this procedure is simple, painless and does not require absolute rest. At the end of the procedure, some specific medications are prescribed to control pain and inflammation and to avoid infections.
For a faster recovery, postoperative therapy with a physiotherapist who works on lymphatic drainage is suggested.
